Punta Cana real estate news – Nouvelles Frontieres Hotel Club in Punta Cana

Leading French tour operator Nouvelles Frontieres has announced the opening of the first Nouvelles Frontieres Hotel Club in the country, a US$30 million property. Jean-Marc Siano, president of the board of Nouvelles Frontieres and Peter Long, president of TUI Travel visited for the opening. Siano said that they opened in the DR “because we know the professionalism and excellence of hotel operations in the country.”
Jean Luc Oizan Chapon,of Inversiones Waterville and formerly of Club Med, was at the ground breaking ceremony of the 215-room hotel in Uvero Alto, in the northern section of Punta Cana on the east coast. He said that the French are also looking into investing in Montecristi.
The hotel will be operated as a four-star property in the all-inclusive model.
Tourism Minister Francisco Javier Garcia represented the Dominican government at the opening.
